Program goals:
- get to know the concept of arboriculture and its activities
- observe and recognize specific adaptations of species living in the Mediterranean area
- understand the role of trees in the past
- spend fun and quality time in nature
- get to know the unique features of the Trsteno Arboretum and other historical gardens of the Dubrovnik area
Expected outcomes:
After participating in the educational program, the participants will be able to:
- Name the basic parts of the tree
- Identify specific adaptations of species living in the Mediterranean area
- Recognize the unique features of the Trsteno Arboretum
