Program goals:
- inform the participants about the high-value plant community of karst
- describe syndynamical processes in the karst area of Dalmatia
- inform the participants about the negative phenomena that affect the development of the karst forest vegetation
- show examples of positive practice of afforestation of the karst areas
Expected outcomes:
After participating in the educational program, the participants will be able to:
- Identify different karst plant communities
- Name the main representatives of the Croatian Mediterranean forests
- Connect the unique characteristics in the xerophyte structure with the habitat adaptations
- Identify the negative phenomena that affect the development of the karst forest vegetation
