Program goals:
- get to know the entomofauna of the Trsteno Arboretum
- realize the importance and role of old trees
- educate and raise participants’ awareness about the natural values of the protected area
- encourage the participants' interest in nature, research of nature and understanding based on research
- make a hotel for insects independently
Expected outcomes:
After participating in the educational program, the participants will be able to:
- Name the main representatives of the entomofauna of the Arboretum
- Identify different groups of entomofauna
- Connect the representatives of entomofauna and their impact on the forests of the Arboretum
- Independently build an insect hotel
